COBI Challenger 2Challenger 2, 1:35, 954 blocks, 330 x 115 x 125 mm
Using a set of COBI construction blocks you can build a modern Challenger 2 tank. This model entered British service in 1998 and is constantly being upgraded. Tanks of this type are used in Oman and Ukraine. The block model was reproduced in a scale of 1:35 using 954 elements. The size of the tank matches the rest of the land vehicles issued as part of the Armed Forces collection. Especially for this model we have developed a new block in the shape of the very characteristic Challenger tank barrel. Under the service hatch there is an engine reproduced from blocks. The model also includes moving elements such as wheels, tracks, a rotating turret and a cannon. The hatch in the turret opens and the included tank figure can be placed there. The figure has two different headgear (helmet + beret with a British emblem). The set also includes two sets of markings to choose from. You can build this tank in either the Ukrainian or British version.Designed by BAE Systems, Challenger 2 is one of the heaviest and best-armored tanks in the world. Armed with a 120mm main gun and machine guns, it is able to effectively destroy both land and air targets. The Challenger 2 is known for its excellent armor protection, making it a difficult target for the enemy. Since entering service in 1998 the tank has participated in combat operations including in Iraq and the Balkans, earning a reputation for reliability and battlefield effectiveness. Challenger 2 tanks donated by the British are currently participating in combat in Ukraine.
